FAMILY ESTATES OF DALMATIA USERS OF CREDIT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CATTLE BREEDING

Sažetak

Favorable credits from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry stimulated a certain number of family estates in Dalmatia to the development of livestock production. The main purpose of this report is to establish the characteristics of these estates and estimate the effects of the investments. The results of the investigation show that these are demographicaly vital estates, above the avenge in size of land and a small number of cattle in already existing farm buildings. Mainly those farmers when already keep cattle decide on the development of livestock production and the interest number of cattle or change it for more productive. The greatest interest is shown keeping sheep and goats, less for and sows.
