Sažetak
Different protection measures of significant flower species from pests and diseases are given in the appendix. These measures are mostly curative. We offer various alternative solutions for the protection from greenhouse whitefly, mites, leaf miners, moths, sawflies, bud rollers, thrips and other kind of pests. The same approach is also given for protection against fungal diseases: rust, downy mildew, powdery mildew, leaf spots, grey mould, withering and other. With these measures of protection it is also important to provide preventive measures which will not be meantioned here. There are only a few plant protection products registered for the protection of ornamental plants in Croatia so the recomendations are mostly given based on experience.
