Sažetak
The paper points out the features of signalling and interlocking devices within the railway system as well as considering reliability, availability and possibility of maintenance and safety (RAMS) as main characteristics of signalling and interlocking devices’ quality. Then it reviews the elements of the maintenance process, stressing the factors regarding maintenance of signalling and interlocking devices on the railway network of the Republic of Croatia, including the proposal for guidelines regarding their improvement.
