Smoking habit in relation to coronary heart disease in a group of workers

Sažetak

In a group of 998 male industrial workers aged 40-59 subjective symptoms of coronary heart disease and electrocardiograms at rest indicative of the disease were studied in relation to the smoking habit. No statistically significant difference was found between nonsmokers and certain categories of smokers as regards the rate of symptoms and relevant ECG findings.
