Abstract

Hygiene is the most important factor for protection of good quality of stored products and it is obliged for every one responsible for storing of agricultural products independently of quantity amount or store house space. Good conditions should be kept in the storage to prevent loss of quality and quantity of stored products. Appearance of insects and mites is easy to recognize and different measures are provided to decrease population and to perform control measures. Presence of fungi is difficult to recognize and sampling of commodity as well as low temperatures, cooling and ventilation should be performed. From time to time it is important to inform employees and organize education about importance of keeping good storing conditions.
