Sažetak

Powdery mildew of strawberry is a disease caused by fungus Podosphaera aphanis. Formerly it was less important disease but in recent years has become more common in strawberry cultivation.
Symptoms, life cycle and epidemiology of the parasite are described. Finally, protection measures for management of the disease and choice of fungicides registered in Croatia are proposed.
