Sažetak
Powdery mildew can cause significant damage on tomatoes. In our country in recent years, especially in protected areas (greenhouses) disease appears with greater intensity. Symptoms of the disease can occur in the form of light-yellowspots or blotches on leaf, and in the case of heavy infection can appear gray-whitesuperficial epifitic mycelium of fungus. Powdery mildew on tomatoes can be caused by two species of fungi: Leveillula taurica and Pseudoidium neolycopersici (syn. Oidium neolycopersici). For the control of this disease in our country are registered fungicides from thegroup of triazoles (difenconazole and flutriafol), strobilurines (kresoxim-methylandazoxystrobin), sulfur fungicides and combined fungicides on the basis of strobilurines and triazoles (trifloxystrobin+tebuconazole and azoxystrobin+difenkonazole) and pyridinecarboxamide and strobilurines (pyraclostrobin+boscalid).
