Sažetak

In this paper symptomatology, biology and control measures of Verticillium and Fusarium wilt of tomato are briefly described. Verticillium and Fusarium pathogens can cause significant yield losses due to complete deterioration of infected plants or a small number of fruits and reduced fruit quality. There are no known effective chemical protection measures. Therefore, protection is based on agrotechnical measures, primarily the cultivation of resistant cultivars.
