Phytoplasma diseases of olive trees

Sažetak

Olive trees can be infected with four different phytoplasmas that could have significant impact on crop performance and yields. Beside transmission by insects dominant way of spreading is through infected planting material. In the article is given short description of symptoms that phytoplasmas can cause in infected olive trees and possibilities for their detection and control.
