Sažetak
The mode of action of some biogenic amines upon the toxicity of the irreversible cholinesterase poison armine has been investigated. The results have shown that the substances causing lowering of noradrenaline and dopamine had no essential influence upon the toxicity of armine while their rise caused the increase of toxicity. The substances which lowered or raised the amount of serotonin in the central nervous system increased the toxicity of armine. The significance of these results has been discussed.
