Medical care of workmen exposed to trothyl during work (First observations)

Sažetak
Results of systematic examinations of workmen in a factory of explosive are described. On the basis of clinical examination and laboratory tests it has been established that out of 66 workers examined 42 had signs of a partly lighter and partly more severe injuries caused by trothyl (21 men and 21 women). Out of the injured workmen 18 (11 males and 7 females) had a damaged liver, 19 (8 males and 11 females) suffered from anaemia and 5 (2 males and 3 females) suffered from both damaged liver and anaemia. Most often the injuries were found in workmen who had to use trothyl in pressing and melting. A special attention was paid lo the problem of systematic examinations of workmen exposed to trothyl hazards.
