Sažetak
Various traumatic conditions influence a large number of bodily conditions and diseases, in which cases it is essential to establish the connection between the wound and the disease. Among these diseases, where the influences of an accident are vital, the most frequent are osteomyelitis, tuberculosis and tumours. Specially in the case of these three diseases, doctors working under the social insurance scheme, are frequently met with the problem of having to give their opinion as to the traumatic connection of the disease, of which opinion the patient's existence depends in many cases. There has been recently a great change in the definition of these forms or diseases. By experiments, statistical data and experience final rules were established in spite of many contraversions. The question of reasons and consequences of the diseases mentioned has only been delt with in the light of the more accepted theses and opinions of the newer medical literature, and differing standpoints are also given to enable the reader lo arrive at the most correct conclusion.
