Sažetak
In this paper the author analyses the relationship between the identity and the violence in the mimetic cycle and the Old Testament disposition of the identity of the violence. The reality of the mimetic cycle is considered as the impossibility of the reconcilement of the ontological disposition of human being with the demands of the designed reality of the community grown from the sacrifice of individual. The culture sprouted forth on the regularity of the mimetic cycle is shown as the culture of discrimination of possibility, but, consecutively, as the culture of the loss of existential identity. The Old Testament comprehension of the identity of the violence, on the contrary, doesn't set out off the designing of reality from some act of created violence, but it always represents the historical dynamics determines the violence as an act which is inseparable from the person doing that act. Finally, the author comes to the conclusion that the difference between the identity with violence in the mimetic cycle and the Old Testament disposition of the identity of the violence is of the ontological nature. In other words, the point in question is in different levels of reality.
