Sažetak
The treatment of ulcers represents a complex and sometimes difucul problem. It is financially demanding and leads to the loss of work capacity. Leg ulcer represents just a symptom of a patological condition that has not been interpreted well enough. Therefore, the
healing approach is not causal but empiric. An overview of possibilities of vene ulcer treatment is presented in this article. The healing concerns modern means: hydrocoloids, hydrogels, olginats, enzyme products, etc. However, it has been warned that many products, for example desinfectional ones, could damage the healing process (granulation and epithelisation). There was a warning that all above listed methods of conventional healing are being proved unsuficient when used. Therefore, it is not good to use one method after another, but rather to try a couple of different ones
