Sažetak
This final thesis explores the possibilities of modeling using polygons. It starts by explaining the reasons for choosing the subject, introducing 3D modeling and its influence on various fields, such as achitecture, medicine, entertainment and others. The Autodesk Maya Program, which is used as a tool for creating the practical part of the final thesis, is explained. The tools and techniques used in 3D modeling are explained and compared
pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. Various ways of texturing and lighting are also presented and explained. Maya is compared with several other popular programs for 3D modeling. Similarities and differences in working with polygons in various programs are presented. In the practical work, the model of concept car is created and a picture set of final composition is given. The following topics are covered: design process, creating a sketch, basic shape, adding resolution to the model, texturing, lighting and creating the final composition.
