Sažetak

Organization and functioning of the General Hospital in Vinkovci during war time is described. Aggression on Croatia at that time was hard and our hospital on the first front line. The paper analyses 1211 casualties operated on in the period from 1st May, 1991 to 1st July, 1992. All relevant data and operating procedures are tabulary and numerically overviewed with a short comment.
