Abstract
This paper presents results of the preliminary survey of social workers ’ (N=30) and social work students’ (N=30) attitudes toward supervision. Although only 26.7% social experiences with supervision, the majority thereof(82%)consider it very much needed in everyday work. Based on the results, steps that are needed in establishing supervision as a part of social work practice are discussed. Paper emphasizes the importance of additional training of a competent group of supervisors.
