Re-standardization / Retro-standardization aspects of orthographic standards (orthographic re-standardization)

Sažetak
In this paper we shall observe the relation between processes of standardization and restandardization by analysing aspects of re-standardization, and endeavour to inquire on how justified it is to consider the relatively minor changes in the written Croatian language as re-standardization in the relevant sense of codification. Since some orthographic changes were partly based on solutions from the periods of standard language, we may conclude that in those cases it is conditionally possible to refer to retro-standardization interventions.
