Sažetak
After six years of recent caves and pits explorations of the island of Šolta, various and scientifically important results are found. Three new species were described so far: pseudoscorpion Microchthonius solentanus B. Ćurčić &; Rađa, 2013; diplolpod Solentanodesmus insularis Antić & Reip, 2014; and harvestman Cyphophthalmus solentiensis Dreszer, Rađa & Giribet, 2015. These findings emphasize the continuation of biological research, primarily because the island has never been systematically investigated. In this article three pits and one cave are described in details. Speleological surveys should also be continued. Two anchialine pits should definitely be included in future investigations, Voda na Stipanskoj, known only from a literature and pit Vodnjak, situated on the cape with the same name.
