Sažetak

Electromyoneurography (EMNG) is a diagnostic method that combines the use of electromyography and electroneurography. Electroneurography is used to measure nerve's conduction velocity and electromyography is used to record muscular activity. This method represents the gold standard for the diagnosis of various neurological disorders. Unlike ECG or EEG, clinical EMNG cannot be standardized since it is based on a detailed prior clinical neurological examination, as well as on the analysis of various differential diagnoses that might result from it. Interpretation of electromyoneurography test results requires detailed knowledge of neuroanatomy and clinical experience in the field of neuromuscular diseases.
