Sažetak
The central question this paper purports to answer is the reality of Keynes's theory today. The historical flow of economic thought has been considered, as well as the conditions in which Keynes's theory appeared, its significance in the context of the time, and the most important events in the development of economics during the last sixty years, i.e. since the publication of General Theory. It is pointed out that, despite the passage of time and the new ideas which came forward, Keynes's teaching is still valid.
