Sažetak
The objective measurements of maximal manifest muscular strength is of great importance in numerous scientific disciplines and in kinesiology in particular. For a long time we felt the need for the introduction of the long time we felt the need for the introduction of the measuring of muscular strength of various movements in order to obtain the values of different muscular groups in sportsmen of various sport disciplines.
- On the basis of biomechanical laws and relevant literature data, we tried to construct our own system of muscular strength measuring. The measuring instruments were constructed at the Electro-Technical Institute "Nikola Tesla" in Belgrade while the apparatus for fixation allowing the isolated activity of the measured muscular group was constructed according to our own design.
- The characteristics of this system of muscular strength measuring is that it allows the testing of a whole series of movements, that it can easily be dismounted and transported, and that the measuring instrument which is very precise, can be supplied with the electric power from the city network or ones own batteries. The experience obtained in several thousand measurements has been used for making minor corrections and for perfecting system and the rescribed methodology.
