Sažetak

This paper presents a brief overview of the decision‐making process used in the prohibition of neonicotinoids in the European Union. Studies on hich the decisions made are based have been analyzed and have shown that all the arguments presented were not taken into account when deciding upon the mandated prohibition. Alternative solutions and the consequences of the prohibition have been analyzed and discussed.
