The structure of motor abilities

Sažetak

The existing studies of motor abilities structure the authors sort out in three groups: those determining the structure of the entire motor space, those determining the structure of only a segment of motor space and those designed to establish the relationships between different segments of motor space and those designed to establish the relationships between different segments of motor space.
The most comprehensive research in the first group showed that motor space can be defined by many of primary dimensions and also by the broad-range regulation mechanisms of the second order, named as mechanism for cortical regulation of movement, mechanism for selective control of transmission speed of impulse through motoneurons.
Also possible future research approaches are proposed, among them taxonomic approach is specially stressed.
