Factor structure of motor abilities of girl pupils

Sažetak
This research was conducted on the sample of 600 10-yearold girl pupils. Motor abilities have been evaluated by means of 27 tests that hypothetically measure: the explosive strength, repetitive strength, static strength, co-ordination, frequency of movements, accuracy, balance, flexibility and agility. By means of factor analysis we have isolated five latent dimensions - the first dimension could be defined as the general factor of the motor system, whereas the other four dimensions appeared to be poorly defined representatives of co-ordination, explosive strength, speed, balance, static strength and flexibility.
