Sažetak
In the evaluation of low back pain, it is very important to have the ability to quantify the progressive long-term posture modification of a patient by detecting the loss of physiological shape of the spine, as well as the loss of functionality and/or short-term spinal deformities and blocks due to an antalgic contracture in acute inflammatory pain. In fact, this kind of information, coupled with eidological analysis (X-Ray, CAT Scan, NMR) giving a detailed anatomical internal status of the rachis (disc protrusion, herniated disk, arthrosis, etc.), allow the physician to plan a therapeutical intervention, as well as to continuously monitor the efficacy of the therapy applied. The aim of this paper is to present a specially developed procedure for the extraction of various clinical parameters and a complete 3D description of the posture and spine shape by using a new non-ionising technique.
