Sažetak
Lactate profile is an important tool for training orientation, however, it is necessary to use a specific stimulus for an adequate prescription. The aim of this work is the analysis of the relationship between two field tests: one with lactate measures and the other with heart rate deflection, in twelve triathletes. They performed a graded track test (Kiss et al., 1995b) and a Conconi test (Conconi et al., 1982). Calculations of the velocity at lactate 3.5 mM were done on track situations (La3.5PR-T) using a piece-wise regression model incorporating an intra-individual correlation matrix. The heart rate deflection velocity, HRT, (Conconiet al., 1982) was also calculated. Mean and standard deviation for graded track test: 16.55 + 1.34 kmh’ and for Conconi: 16.33 + 1.39 kmh’; track test protocols have similar results: no statistical difference (p=0.63) and r=0.7(p=0.008). An ecological validity for track tests is better than for laboratory tests with similar protocol; the gold standard for validity measurement of the Conconi test must be a field test with direct analysis of the metabolic conditions; in this case HRT coincides with La3.5PR-T. The heart rate at both thresholds approaches 170 bpm, similar to PWC-170 of Wahlund (1948), and different from Kiss et al., 1995d.
