Dignity therapy was administered to ten prisoners in a detention center. The Beck Depression Inventory was administered before
and after the intervention. The results obtained from the Beck Depression Inventory have highlighted dimensional changes in all the prisoners. There was a significant improvement in relational abilities and the disappearance of self-harming thoughts.
