Sažetak
This paper describes the activities taken by the Public Library Slavonski Brod during March and April 2020., during the closure caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic. At that time the Library was closed for physical visits for all patrons and it performed all its activities with patrons through e-mail servers and social networks. With regard to the offered online services we wanted to find out whether the Library managed to interest users with its contents and to what extent they were satisfied with such a service. The methodology consisted of monitoring the work of librarians and the activities of users of social networks Facebook and to a lesser extent Instagram. Users' reactions to the Library's posts were measured and processed using the statistical monitoring tools used by the Facebook network. Whether the users were satisfied with the work of the Library at the time when it was closed and whether quality interaction was achieved was determined using an anonymous survey online questionnaire. The questionnaire was published on the Facebook page of the Public Library Slavonski Brod in the period of ten days. Increased work of employees on the preparation of various posts for publishing resulted in a higher response of users compared to the period before the closure. The work of the Library on the described social networks enabled librarians to stay in touch with their users and offer them content appropriate to the point in which the Library was at that time.
