Sažetak

Suspension polymerization of styrene is the main process for PSE production. In this process organic phase (styrene monomer) is suspended in water phase as droplets. Stability of suspension depends on various factors: purity of raw materials and additives, polymerization reaction rate, ratio monomer/water, mixing speed, reactor geometry and other. The paper describes production technology for PS-E in DIOKI with one step production based on PSTW technology (USA).
