Sažetak
Having shown that Bultmann's attempt at demythologisation is not only precarious, because it leads to a type of reductionism, albeit in vain since myth and the mythical conscience have been shown to be like an anthropological constant, the question remains as to, how to speak comprehensibly of God in contemporary situations. The situation has been further complicated due to the fact that the process of secularisation has led to an »epistemological nihilism« (M. Solar). Through »epistemological nihilism«, theology has become a theology »without words and uncommunicative« (W. Kasper). Hence, we have endeavoured to question the roots of »epistemological nihilism« in the modern philosophy of language according to the scheme of W. Kasper. The turning point in contemporary thought on language has brought to focus contemporary thinking in terms of metaphor, which in the opinion of P. Ricoeur viewed in the context of hermeneutics. Consideration of the nature of metaphor in the context of hermeneutics poses the question of legitimacy of evidence, in other words, truth itself. Truth is viewed in the context of Heidegger and Scheler phenomenological hermeneutics enlightened by the light of Revelation.
