Sažetak

The Croatian scientific community is provided with access to various databases, covering
all scientific fields. Forestry sciences are represented in some of them, although mostly not as
a separate group „forestry“, but as a part of other groups (agronomy, plant sciences, ecology,
pedology etc.). Database search revealed 145 full-text journals of interest to foresters. The
most important bibliographic database for the field of forestry sciences is CABI, covering all
aspects of forestry, agronomy, agroforestry, wood industry etc., but provides access to full
text articles for only a small number of journals. Some of relevant forestry journals were
found in free-access bibliographic databases and on the web pages of publishers.
