Sažetak

The Faculty of Geodesy has been started to use information technologies very early. The first Web pages of the Faculty have been installed in 1996 in the public computer of the University Computer Centre. This work presents the basic terms about Internet and network services, it illustrates the work on and usage of Faculty Web in the period from January 1997 till December 1999, and it also shows new technologies used in the presentation of data on Web. The Faculty has got its own server in the meantime, and the new pages are being worked on. This job should be given full attention and effort in order to the Faculty and geodetic profession as well as possible.
