Sažetak

The paper examines previously known and unknown grave finds
of the late 10th and 11th centuries from Šenkovec, Sv. Juraj u Trnju,
and Sv. Martin na Muri, in Međimurje. Their complete interpretation
in one place has widened our knowledge of the processes
that take place in the Drava and Mura interfluve and the wider
area of the Eastern Alps and Pannonian Plain. Mapping analogies
for grave finds was necessary for identification and the establishment
of a regional framework. The historical context has
provided the necessary determinants for understanding the
area, and additional excursions on the transformations of the
early Middle Ages between the Rivers Drava and Mura complemented
the interpretation of the grave finds.
