Sažetak
The paper presents first the basic information about the purpose, origins and extension of the unique European spatial coordinate system EUREF. Furthermore, there is a report about GPS Campaign EUREF 1994 – Croatia and Slovenia and about so far obtained remarkable results within the scope of ITRF89 and the related ETRS89. For the first time at all, this paper brings information about the initiation of the Croatian Geodynamic Project, in which the interdisciplinary scientific grounds are based primarily on the existence of the famous Adriatic micro-plate, and highlights the fundamental elements of the already carried out GPS-measurements within the frame of its first phase – CRODYN'94. At the end of this paper there are some very significant findings presented which are important for further appropriate application of GPS technology at the Croatian territory.
