Abstract

Declination of all stars observed at the occasion of the second determining the latitude of the Observatory Maksimir from the years 1942 and 1943, have been rendered from the system FK3 into the system FK5, the new latitudes have been derived from all Horrebow-Talcott's pairs and zenith stars, as well as the new latitude of the Observatory, as the basic astrometric point of the Republic Croatia. The observing lasted 11 months, and in order to find out whether the periodical motion of pole bas been excluded, the reduction has been done onto the Conventional International Origin, the so called CIO pole.
