EPVGI 90 – Satellite Measurements and the Computation of the Results

Sažetak
The paper describes organization of preparation and work with satellites receivers in true field conditions on the Experimental Polygon Military Geographic Institute (EPVGI) in order to investigate reliability and internal accuracy of the results. Reliability of the results was assessed by comparing distances measured on different session. The internal precision achieved by the WM 102 and PoPS as shown by the root mean square error and variance covariance matrix is excellent. A Helmert transformation was used to compare the GPS-determined coordinates with the coordinates obtained from the local system.
