In favour of the use of the terms dvotočje and trotočje

Abstract

The term dvotočje (colon), confirmed by Croatian tradition, and the term trotočje (ellipsis,
three dots) derived in accordance with it, have recently been pushed out of use. The paper
explains the reasons in favour of the use of both these terms.
