Sažetak

Due to sudden urbanization, construction, and development of agriculture, the habitat of many plant
species has been reduced. Within anthropogenic lawns, which many people want to look green and
homogeneous, we usually find different grass or grass-clover mixtures that, if not properly maintained,
soon grow into parterres rich in plant species that in certain forms of appearance can preserve
biodiversity, but can also become and a fertile medium for the development of invasive plant species.
Within this work, a total of 68 plant species belonging to 22 families were inventoried. Among them, 5
are invasive: Amaranthus retroflexus, Erigeron annuus, Conyza canadensis, Veronica persica i
Phytolacca americana. Also, due to a longer period of drought, some species occupy the space of
primarily dominant types of grasses, and lawns and parterres are green areas full of weed species,
which can be useful in preserving biodiversity, but also very dangerous if some of them spread and
start to pose a threat.
