Abstract

The paper tackles the issue of the erection of the Workhouse of the Branchetta brothers
through the prism of the expenses, or rather following its coming to be – from the
donation by the two brothers to the execution of rough construction and the finalisation
of the complex. These processes are followed through various forms of invoices and
work logs, i.e. via all the means that might be useful in determining the real building
expenses, offering thereby a new perspective regarding this project.
