Sažetak
Concrete real-life situations, such as one's fears, hardships, and the like, are very often mirrored in the philosophical works of a thinker. The Danish philosopher Kierkegaard is an extraordinary example of a philosopher whose writings reflect a connection of this sort between thought and real life. In fact, he succeeded in transforming his own existential uncertainties into a philosophy of existence, thus paving the way for a new direction in philosophy which treats the problem of human existence (moreso than essence).
