Sažetak
As part of the program for young people of the City Library of Virovitica, there is a Youth Club “On reading and all the other things”. At meetings held once a month, members of the aforementioned Club discuss the books they have read and create and present various content for young people. The goal of this work is to show how the Club works, what content is created within the Club’s activities, and for the purpose of popularizing programs for young people and encouraging the establishment of reading clubs for young people in other libraries. In the introductory part of the paper, it is about young people and reading, the need to establish reading clubs for young people, and the establishment of the Youth Club “About reading and everything a little bit” of the City Library of Virovitica. In the central part of the work, programs for young people were presented, which were implemented over two years as part of the activities of the Youth Club of the City Library of Virovitica. The conclusion brings reflections on the need for developing reading among young people and how the number of young users in the City Library of Virovitica increased through the activities of the Youth Club “On reading and all the other things”.
