Sažetak

During renovation of the building of the Theological Seminary in Zadar rescue archaeological excavations were carried out at the end of 1992 and in March 1993 in the courtyard. The courtyard was located somewhat above the level of the neighboring cardo, and remains of Roman architecture could not be expected during investigation, particularly not the structures of walls above the foundation
level, as was shown by excavation. In the continuation of excavation in the other part of the courtyard, considerably more remains of Roman architecture were found, with pools, floors, and part of a black and white mosaic. This article discusses two fragments of plaster with stucco work found in one pool filled with debris, plaster, stones, and various fragments of pottery and amphorae.
