Sažetak
Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common neoplasm of the penis and prepuce in horses and it comprises 67.5% to 85.4% of genital neoplasms in male horses. It is most often found in older horses, at an average age of 17 to 20 years. Neoplasms of the penis and prepuce in horses represent a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge because the lesions can be present for a long time before the appearance of clinical signs, and the disease can be in an advanced stage. This report presents the gross and histopathological
findings of penile squamous cell carcinoma penis in a Haflinger horse, 23 years old, necropsied at the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb
