Sažetak

TF (Tito’s fund) for scholarships for young workers and workers’ children was established in SFRY (Socijalist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia) in 1973 and had a general Yugoslav character. The fund was active in all republics, AP and JNA (Yugoslav National Army). The bodies of TF were the Assembly (administrative) and the Executive Board (executive). The assembly consisted of delegates from the ranks of the founders, the republics, the AP and the JNA, which elected the IO.
With the strengthening of self-governance and the adoption of new Rules in SRH in 1979, the significant role of the SRH TF Assembly is assumed by the TF in the municipality. TF councils in the municipalities take over the selection of scholarship recipients. TF in SRH awarded more than four and a half thousand scholarships, and compared to funds in the republics and AP, it had the best results in awarding the number of scholarships to young workers compared to the children of workers. During the period of activity in the municipality of Križevci from 1974 to 1989, the TF scholarship was used by 27 scholarship recipients. Funds for the scholarships of Križevi students were paid by 60 entities from Križevci. They made up the Union of TF members of the municipality of Križevci. They elected their delegates to the TF Municipality Council, which was its highest body. 20 scholarship recipients completed their education, one did not, and we have no data for six recipients. The majority of scholarship recipients from Križevci came from working families and were active in socio-political work. After completing their education, scholarship holders in the SFRY, but also in the municipality of Križevci, were supposed to continue with socio-political work in society and thus return the spent financial resources invested by the state and society in their education.
