Sažetak
The paper analyses the way in which Dubravko Jelčić includes topics from the field of Croatian dramatic literature and theatre into his History of Croatian Literature (2004). Furthermore, his representation and interpretation of Croatian drama and theatre in literary history is observed with regard to some general aspects of the genre of literary history (periodization, methodology, basic principles of literary and historical narrative, etc.) and to the selection processes, procedures, and conclusions of his literary history with regard to the other written histories of Croatian literature, and to the canon of theatre artists and plays favoured by the Croatian theatre historiography of the recent period.
