The dissertation is divided into 10 chapters:
Introduction
Systematic approach for a cadastre establishment
Cadastral documentation
Research data
Standards of metadata
Analysis of cadastral documentation
Metadata of a cadastre establishment
Linking the features and characteristics of cadastre establishment with the standard
Model of the metadata system on the establishment of a cadastre
Conclusion
In the first, introductory chapter, the motivation for the research is presented, the main research so far in the field of cadastral archival data and metadata about them is presented, and the goals and methodology of the research and the organization of the dissertation are described.
Theoretical considerations on the systematic approach to establishment of the cadastre and the cadastral survey project, which is utilized to create the cadastre in different periods throughout history, are presented in the second chapter. For each period, the activities and participants in the process of establishing the cadastre are recognized, as well as the spatial framework that was applied. Five key regulations have been recognized based on which the periods of cadastre establishment in the research area can be divided.
In the third chapter, the documents that are created by the systematic establishment of the cadastre are defined and described. The documents are divided into spatial and textual documents/lists. The spatial involves of the cadastral map sheets, the field sketch and the sketch of the boundaries of the cadastral municipality. Lists refer to cadastral municipality demarcation minute book, list of cadastral parcels, list of owners and others.
The fourth chapter describes the data that were used for the research. The types of documents, the place of storage and the time period in which they were created were analyzed. Based on the analyzed data, five periods of cadastre establishment were also recognized.
The fifth chapter contains an overview of international norms and metadata standards developed in the field of geoinformation. Norms and standards of metadata are developed at the international, regional and national level. Those adopted at the international level were selected for the research. In addition to the standards in the field of geoinformation, the standard for the description of archived material - ISAD(G) - was also analyzed.
The sixth chapter deals with the analysis of the cadastral documentation that is created during the establishment of the cadastre. Documents and content that unambiguously describe the data are recognized. In the seventh chapter, the relevant types of documents created by the creation of the cadastre are classified. For each document, key features and properties that describe it are recognized.
In the eighth chapter, the features and properties of cadastre creation are compared with the entities and metadata elements of ISO 19115. In total, 11 of the 17 packages prescribed by the standard were considered. In the ninth chapter, the model of the cadastre metadata system is presented, which was developed and based on the ISO 19115 standard. In the tenth chapter, all conclusions and proposals resulting from the conducted research are presented.
At the end of the dissertation there are a list of references, tables, figures, abbreviations and the biography of the author.

Sustavni pristup izradi katastra
Katastarska dokumentacija
Podatci za istraživanje
Norme i standardi metapodataka
Analiza katastarske dokumentacije
Metapodatci izrade katastra
Povezivanje obilježja i svojstava izrade katastra s normom
Model sustava metapodataka o izradi katastra
Prostorni prikaz čine listovi katastarskog plana, terenska skica i skica omeđivanja granica katastarske općine.
Peto poglavlje sadrži pregled međunarodnih normi i standarda metapodataka razvijenih u području geoinformacija.
