Abstract

According to the requirements of green cultural studies, discussed for example by Jhan Hochman (1998), noting that cultural studies were initiated in «green«, the text is created as a presentation of »green« readings of Croatian theater and performance art (three case studies – A Play for the Living in a Time of Extinction, directed by Anica Tomić, written by Miranda Rose Hall, 2022; Let the Dew Rain Fall on Us, by Mia Štark, 2022; Murmurs of the Silent Green – concept: Otchuda Say, performer: Kaia Liifsong 2023) with an emphasis on ecocriticism and cultural and critical animal studies.
