Sažetak
This review is based on REACT (Renewable Energy Action) programme report financed by the European Commission. The scope of the project was to explain the facts that led to the most successful policy of renewable energy sources (RES) for electric energy production in Europe until 2004. The analysis has shown that the most successful electric energy market for RES was in Germany and Spain. The existence of known, stable and long-term legal frame has proved a key factor for a quick and successful market development.
