Sažetak
The aim of the paper is to present the lifelong learning programme of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb (AF) and the results of the surveys organised by the Centre for Lifelong Learning (CZO AF) for the period from 2021 to 2023. The paper presents the results of two surveys: firstly, among a sample of 202 Croatian primary school teachers who expressed the greatest interest in training on medicinal and aromatic plants (150, 74.3%), healthy nutrition and physical activity (94, 46.5%) and floriculture (92, 45.5%). Of the training models offered, the majority of them (125, 61.8%) chose 2-3 weekends. The second survey was conducted among 268 residents of Zagreb County with the aim of determining the interest in accredited AF educational programmes. Most of the respondents expressed interest in viticulture and oenology (79, 45.1%) and urban organic gardening (57, 32.6%). The AF initiated a redesign of the study programmes and proposed a comprehensive model for an educational programme that includes formal, non-formal and informal education, with the proposal to reconceptualise the role of the AF in the implementation of different educational programmes for different age groups.
